This class will explore some of the more common issues dealing with a property sale when the seller is in bankruptcy, files for bankruptcy, or the buyer discloses that they have been discharged from a bankruptcy. A seller’s rights and obligations while in bankruptcy will be discussed. We will also review how landlord/tenant issues are handled when either the landlord or tenant files for bankruptcy.
